Kat is the finance and database coordinator at MCN. She first joined MCN as an AmeriCorps service member in MCN’s cohort for the 2017-18 service year, then served as MCN’s VISTA Leader for the 2018-19 service year. After her years of service, Kat was hired by MCN as the program assistant until May 2021 when she transitioned to MCN’s finance department.
Kat is a nerd at heart, happy to spend endless hours in Power BI creating visual reports on various data sets. She puts her love of data and organization to good use in the finance department, and jumps at the opportunity to work with her colleagues on inter-departmental data projects, updating operational processes, and all the other boring admin work.
When not working, you can find her in a climbing gym puzzling through a bouldering problem, immersed in Ghost of Tsushima and Assassin’s Creed games, enjoying the Twin Cities food scene, or planning where she’ll travel next.
