The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) is pleased to announce the opening of nominations for the 2023 Minnesota Nonprofit Mission Awards. Presented annually since 1987, the awards recognize nonprofit organizations making outstanding contributions to Minnesota's high quality of life in the areas of: Advocacy, Anti-Racism, Innovation, and Responsive Philanthropy.
Completed nominations are reviewed by a Mission Awards selection committee in May 2023, narrowing the field to three finalists in each category. MCN members then vote for award recipients in each of the four categories in June 2023.
Award-winning organizations receive the distinction of being recognized as a leader among Minnesota's nonprofits during the 2023 MCN Annual Conference in Duluth; a professional video capturing the organization's award-worthy work; a one-of-a-kind art glass award; a feature profile in MCN's Nonprofit News reaching 14,000 nonprofit leaders; and a cash award (for all recipients except for Responsive Philanthropy recipient).
Nominations for the 2023 Minnesota Nonprofit Mission Awards must be received by Friday, April 28, 2023 at 5 p.m. More information on the awards and nomination process, as well a list of past award recipients, can be found at www.minnesotanonprofits.org/mission.
