YouTube for Nonprofits
Many nonprofits choose to post their videos to YouTube for its popularity among internet users and for its ease of use. YouTube also allows its site administrators to insert videos downloaded to YouTube to external Web sites.
To join YouTube, visit YouTube and click “Create Account”. Once the account is created, nonreligious 501(c)(3) organizations and nonprofits who are not politically-focused can apply for YouTube’s Nonprofit Program. This free program allows the account administrator to brand the organization’s YouTube channel, drive fundraising with optional “Donate” and call to action overlays in videos and gives the administrator increased uploading capacity.
