Company Description

Studio501 provides nonprofit accounting and fiscal management services to nonprofit organizations within Minnesota and beyond. We only serve nonprofits and have been experts in nonprofit accounting and fiscal management since 2002. We understand that a nonprofit’s bottom line goes much deeper than dollars and cents. Our partners are here to make a positive impact on their communities and world, while doing work they love to do. We started Studio501 to bring that spirit of joy and optimism to nonprofit accounting, a passion that’s guided us for close to two decades.

We currently handle the finances of over 80 nonprofit organizations in the fields of arts, social services, education, social justice, policy think tanks, philanthropy, health, youth, membership organizations and the environment.

We believe a strong financial relationship is a valuable asset. Working alongside our nonprofit partners, we see their mission through their eyes and make their challenges our own. Building on their ambitions, we guide them to do more with the resources they have, remove financial roadblocks and uncertainty, and keep getting better at what they do.

A nonprofit’s financial story can powerfully connect with stakeholders across the community, from board members to investors to allies. When our clients tell it well, they’re more successful — better able to address the critical issues of our times and create a more vibrant, welcoming and equitable world.
