Office Hours – March 25 & April 22 @ 1 – 2 p.m. Central
Between workshops, series participants are invited to join virtual office hours designed as interactive “learning circles” rather than traditional Q&A sessions. These 60-minute sessions offer space for reflection, practice, and peer-to-peer exchange, helping participants bridge theory to action in real time.
Purpose
The goal of these sessions is to deepen understanding, share lived experiences, and build a community of HR practitioners committed to rehumanizing the workplace. Each gathering centers on translating workshop concepts into practical strategies participants can test and refine within their own organizations.
Structure
- Guided Reflection (10 min): A grounding prompt connects back to the previous workshop theme (e.g., inclusive hiring, EQ communication, equitable feedback).
- Collaborative Dialogue (25 min): Small breakout groups discuss case examples, challenges, and insights from applying new tools or frameworks.
- Collective Learning Harvest (20 min): Participants reconvene to share lessons learned, best practices, and emergent questions with the larger group.
- Commitment Rounds (5 min): Each participant names one small step they’ll take before the next session, building accountability and momentum across the cohort.
Outcomes
By participating in the Office Hours sessions, learners will:
- Strengthen their confidence applying equity-centered HR strategies in real contexts
- Cultivate a network of peers to support ongoing problem-solving and learning
- Practice reflective inquiry and coaching techniques that can be brought back to their teams
- Co-create a living community of practice, advancing a collective shift toward humanized, justice-informed HR

Speaker Information

Kaitlin Desselle
My superpowers are developing emotionally-intelligent leaders and revolutionizing organizational cultures into the most profitable asset. I have a proven track record of authenticating company values to impact employee engagement, efficiency in systems, and rapid growth of bottom line.
I founded Wayfinders Coaching & Consulting after spending over a decade in operations management and people leadership in high-performance organizations. I’ve worked cross-functionally in HR, business development, change management and learning and development, and across many industries–from nonprofit work, higher education, food service, and retail–to DEI consulting.
What I found along the way is that the core ingredients for successful relationships (and ultimately business growth) are rooted in emotional intelligence, trust-based communication, and intercultural competence. Now I offer coaching, training, consulting, and thought-partnership for individuals and teams seeking to build these skills.I work with an incredibly diverse team of practitioners, with go-to methodologies that include critical HROD, change management frameworks, emotional intelligence (EQ-i), intercultural development (IDI), systems audits, and cultural assessments.
