Jes Wysong

Jessica (Jes) Wysong (she/her/hers) is the membership manager at the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits. In this role, she works with MCN’s membership team to ensure nonprofits across Minnesota—from the metro area to rural communities in every corner of the state—are meaningfully supported, recognizing that geography shapes both culture and need.

Jes brings more than 20 years of nonprofit experience, primarily in middle management and program and operational leadership roles, with a focus on human services. Her work has centered on equity, advancing racial and gender justice, and reducing barriers so all people can reach their full potential. She is passionate about program development that strengthens impact and aligns with organizational missions, and about building relationships across the sector to connect nonprofits with resources and with one another. Jes holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Gustavus Adolphus College, with additional coursework in mental health counseling, and lives and works in Greater Minnesota, bringing a strong appreciation for the strengths and nuances of communities across the state.
