The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) maintains a database of more than 6,500 nonprofit organizations in Minnesota. Through a customized rental of MCN’s direct mail list, you can reach only the nonprofit organizations that are most interested in your message. You can target a list of nonprofits by:
- Specific activity area
- Budget size
- Geographic area
Postal Mailing Lists
The lists provided by MCN are postal mailing lists of nonprofit organization addresses and executive director names (when available). MCN’s privacy policy does not allow email addresses or phone numbers to be sold or rented. Lists are provided as Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. All lists are provided for one-time-use only. Multiple uses of a rented list are prohibited unless with the expressed permission of MCN.
Data Cleanliness
MCN routinely updates and verifies our data according to postal regulations. Successful delivery rates average approximately 97 percent – higher than industry standards. MCN strives to maintain a database with current information for all nonprofits in Minnesota. We do so with regular updates and additions, as well as removal when addresses are no longer deliverable.
Mailing List Rental Rates
Members: $0.20 per name + $25 set up fee
Nonmembers: $0.40 per name + $50 set up fee
Member Discounts
Nonprofit and associate members receive 50 percent off the regular list rental rates. Advocate and Ally level associate members receive additional mailing lists benefits as part of their member benefits.
