Company Description
I founded B. E. Riley Consulting in 2011 to support others in moving their important work forward. I specialize in group facilitation, strategic planning, organizational coaching and specialized training, bringing my experience from the public health arena, the nonprofit sector, and all levels of government to support positive organizational change. I have worked with many government organizations and nonprofits, and completed engagement, assessment and planning projects with city, county and state agencies, Minnesota foundations, and nonprofits large and small.
While I’m a lifelong Minnesotan who has lived within five miles of the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport my entire life, I have cultivated a broad range of experiences that inform my approach to consulting. I was “raised” by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondolet who infused my schools with a liberal Catholic ethic and a social justice lens. As the youngest child of an extended Irish family, I honed my skills in observational research, diplomacy and negotiation.
I hold a Master of Public Health from the University of Minnesota and an undergraduate degree from the University of St. Catherine, Saint Paul, MN. I’m an alumna of the Policy Fellows program at the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute for Public Affairs, and the Emerging Leaders Network, a leadership development program of Minnesota public health associations.
