Company Description

Pollen helps nonprofits, cultural institutions, and affordable housing developers figure out whether a project can work, and under what conditions. Services Provided

Pollen provides financial strategy and economic research for nonprofits, cultural institutions, affordable housing developers, and public sector entities. The work is built around one core question: can this project work, and under what conditions?

Services include feasibility analysis, capital strategy, financial modeling, organizational financial health assessments, and ongoing advisory support. Engagements translate project concepts into structured financial frameworks, evaluating capital costs, revenue durability, operating performance, and risk exposure before significant commitments are made.

Pollen is most useful when the stakes are high: facility acquisitions, capital campaigns, program expansions, ownership vs. leasing decisions, or any moment where a funder or board needs the numbers to be right. Typical engagements run 6 to 10 weeks. Pollen has served 80+ organizations across 20 states.

Certified WOSB, MN TBE, MnUCP DBE, and Minneapolis SBE.

Fee Structure

Engagements are offered at three tiers: Financial Snapshot, Feasibility Analysis, and Infrastructure Strategy. All projects are custom-scoped through a free 30-minute discovery call. Pricing is provided after scoping.
