As a new year approaches, the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) would like to extend our thanks to members like you for helping make 2019 one the most memorable in our organization’s history. As we often say, MCN is only as strong as the organizations that make up our membership, and because of you, we remain the largest state association of nonprofits in the nation.
We also wanted to take this moment to let your organization know about a new dues schedule going into effect on January 1, 2020. Our first increase since 2016, the modest increases will allow MCN to better serve nonprofits through affordable educational offerings, public policy work, sector research, resource creation, and member benefits designed to save you time and money.
What is the value of MCN membership for your organization?
As an member, you have access to discounted or free access to valuable resources and publications, over 150 educational offerings, the largest nonprofit-specific job board in Minnesota, and so much more. Additionally, members provide invaluable support to an array of public policy initiatives in which we engage on behalf of the nonprofit sector and the communities they serve each year. To see a detailed list of member benefits, please visit our nonprofit and associate membership pages.
How much of a dues increase can your nonprofit expect?
For many organizations, they may see a modest or no increase. For example, organizations with budgets under $50,000 will remain at the $50 dues level. All other levels can expect to see modest increases of between $25 for organizations with small- to mid-sized budgets and $100 – $150 for the very largest of organizations. See full dues schedule
