Are you looking to improve your ability to navigate challenging conversations with coworkers? If so, join us for a participatory workshop where we’ll explore practical strategies for handling tough discussions in the workplace.
Whether it’s managing interpersonal and interdepartmental conflict, addressing sensitive topics, or re-engaging conversation after a rough start, this session will give you tools and practice to approach difficult conversations with less anxiety and more confidence.
Together, we’ll create a supportive space to share experiences, learn from each other, and leave feeling empowered to foster positive, respectful dialogue in our professional relationships.
To make the most of this experience, please come prepared with a specific conflict you are currently facing or anticipate facing in the near future. This will allow you to directly apply the insights and techniques we discuss during the session.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn and practice effective approaches to engaging in workplace conflict, and build confidence to navigate the inevitable, tensions in a generative way.
- Develop greater self awareness about how we each enter difficult conversations using the Courageous Conversations Compass Tool.
- Practice utilizing deep self reflection to better understand how to effectively express your needs and understand other’s needs.
