This event is designed for the Executive Director AND Board Chair to network and learn how to get your board involved in fundraising.
As a board chair or executive director, you know that a strong partnership between board leadership and executive leadership is critical to a nonprofit’s success—especially when it comes to fundraising.
The Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation invites you to Nonprofits at Noon, a networking and learning opportunity designed exclusively for Executive Directors and Board Chairs. This isn’t just another lunch—it’s a chance to engage in real, strategic conversations about one of the biggest challenges nonprofits face: how to get your board more actively involved in fundraising.
About the Session:
An essential role of nonprofit boards of directors is helping ensure that their organizations have the resources to meet their mission. This often means assisting with fundraising—from helping set goals and strategy to planning events and asking for donations to completing or supporting grant applications.
There are many ways board members can help secure the funding their organization needs—but step one is understanding and getting comfortable in the role of fundraiser. In this conversation, we’ll talk about the many ways board members can get involved in fundraising and tools that will help them become more comfortable and effective at the task.
This is more than a training—it’s an investment in your nonprofit’s leadership team. BOTH THE BOARD CHAIR AND THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR MUST REGISTER, as this event is specifically designed to strengthen your partnership and equip you with actionable strategies to implement together. Please be sure to include your name and the organization you are with when you register. We look forward to connecting with you!
