September 16 @ 1:30 pm 3:00 pm CDT

Virtual Workshop – Live/Online

If there is one word that sums up the current state of federal grants, it is the word ‘change.’

She will provide an in-depth summary of agency upheavals and what they mean for grantees and applicants, shed light on thousands of award terminations, lay out your options if your award is terminated, explain how agency changes are impacting grant writing and grant management, spotlight the administration’s funding priorities, and share her recommendations on how to adapt.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand the current administration’s funding priorities and examples of terminated federal grants across different federal agencies
  • Understand how federal agency work force reductions and changes will impact local nonprofits, especially how grants are monitored and managed
  • Understand options available to nonprofits if a federal grant is terminated and how to develop a more nuanced funding strategy
